Can I connect/sync my Samsung device to Limeade?

Yes, Samsung devices can be indirectly connected to your Limeade account if your organization is using Limeade ONE (the Url on your Home page has /one/Home in the link -or- the mobile app is called Limeade ONE).

Samsung Health cannot sync directly to Limeade, but can be synced through Google Fit and another Google solution, Health Connect, which brings together health data from various apps. If you want to learn more about how this works, see this article. 

Please follow the steps below to sync your Samsung Health data to Google Fit using Health Connect!

Download & Set Up the Health Connect App

1. If you have not done so already, download the Health Connect app from the Play store to your Android device.

1. Open Health Connect.
2. Tap Get Started.
3. Select App permissions.

1. Select Samsung Health from the list of apps.
2. Enable Allow all or manually select the health data you want to sync.

Download Google Fit and Sync Data to Health Connect

1. If you have not done so already, download the Health Connect app from the Play store to your Android device.

1. The first time you open Google Fit after installing Health Connect, you see a Sync with Health Connect banner.
2. Tap Get started.
3. Select Set up from the Sync with Health Connect page.
4. Grant Fit access to Health Connect data. You can allow access to all data or select the categories individually.

1. Open the Google Fit app on your phone.
2. Tap the Profile button from the bottom navigation bar.
3. Tap the Settings button at the top.

1. Ensure the Sync Fit with Health Connect option is enabled

1. Open the Samsung Health app.
2. Tap the three-dot main menu icon in the upper-right corner.

Sync Google Fit to Limeade

How to connect Google Fit

To connect Google Fit to Limeade ONE:

1. Download the Limeade ONE app from the Google Play store and log in if you have not already done so.
2. Navigate to the Limeade ONE app > Profile > Settings > Edit device settings > Google Fit.  Click the next to Google Fit and follow the prompts:

3.  Choose your account to continue to your Limeade ONE app:

4.  Click the Continue button to allow your physical activity to flow over to Limeade ONE:

5.  You are now connected to Google Fit. The connection status will be managed in the Limeade ONE app and not on the desktop version.
