Limeade ONE Badging Guide
Deploying Badging apps to a Role
Overview
The Limeade ONE Badging Feature allows organizations to reward users for activity and engagement in the Limeade ONE employee application. The feature is intended to be used as a tool to increase user engagement and adoption. This feature is made up of 3 different components: a badging card that notifies users of an earned badge, a micro-app allowing users to view their badges and the administration console, allowing administrators to configure the badges for their organization as well as view a badge reports.
Badging – End User Experience
Earning Badges
Users earn badges by using their employee application. Administrators determine which badges are available. Each badge rewards for a specific activity type and for a total count of these activities.
Activities that Earn Badges
- User Comments – Counted when a user comments on a post
- Kudos Sent – Counted when a user sends a kudos to a colleague
- Invite Sent – Counted when a user invites another colleague using the invite feature
- Cards Liked – Counted when a user likes a post
- Poll Response – Counted when a user responds to a poll
- Share – Counted when a user shares a post to their networks
Receiving a badge
When a user earns a badge, the user will receive a card in their My Updates feed informing the user which badge they have earned. This card is only viewable by the user who has earned the badge. If the badge is configured to send push notifications and the user receiving the badge is subscribed to push notifications, the user will receive a push notification for the newly earned badge.
Viewing Earned Badges
A user can always view the list of badges they have earned by opening the badges micro-app in the Services tab of their employee app, or navigating to their profile and clicking Badges.
Once opened, the My Badges Micro-App will display the current users earned badges
Deploying the Badging Feature
This section covers how to configure a tenant to make the badging feature available to employees. The badging feature is not enabled on a tenant by default, so the first step in deploying this feature is to request that the Badging Feature, Badging Card and My Badges Micro-App be shared with the tenant. Engage with the customer success manager and they will gladly help with this initial step. In order to properly configure the B=badging feature, administration privileges are required.
Configuring Badges
The next step in configuring a tenant for badging is to configure the badges. When enabled, the Limeade ONE Badging feature comes pre-configured with six badges to get you started.
