Limeade ONE AppBuilder Installation Guide
The following instructions cover how to install the Limeade ONE AppBuilder.
Installing the AppBuilder
To install the AppBuilder, download the Visual Studio extension from the Visual Studio Gallery or search for Limeade ONE in the Visual Studio Marketplace.
Once the AppBuilder has been installed, it will be available in the Visual Studio menu under:
- Tools > Extensions and Updates (2017)/Extensions > Manage Extensions (2019) > Installed > Limeade ONE AppBuilder
The AppBuilder is a Visual Studio extension. Before installing AppBuilder, please make sure that the machine that the extension will be installed to has the following prerequisites:
The AppBuilder requires a Visual Studio 2017 or 2019 (Community, Professional or Enterprise). The Express Editions are not supported since they do not support extensions.
The AppBuilder is an extension to Visual Studio. Based on this, the hardware requirements for AppBuilder are the ones that are used for Visual Studio.
The AppBuilder connects during certain actions (publishing new Cards or Micro-Apps) to the Limeade ONE Cloud environment. Therefore, the AppBuilder requires a direct internet connection without a proxy.
If scenarios are created that work with backend connectors, connectivity to the given backend system may be needed (e.g., SharePoint, SAP).
