Instructions to Configure Badges
Badges are most commonly heard in the context of a reward for whenever a user goes from level 1 to level 2, which is an activity where they can download badge. These badges let users be rewarded for various actions within Limeade ONE and are a great way to increase engagement within the Limeade ONE platform. When a user does something that meets a condition (see pictures below) they’ll receive a card in their feed informing them of which badge they received. If a user wants to see what badges they have earned, they can navigate to the Services tab to see the badges they have earned.
Please note that Badges and Cheers/Kudos are not one in the same. Badges are personal rewards earned by users, and therefore, are seen by the user only. Cheers/Kudos are public recognitions given by other users or entities that will appear in the Cheers/Kudos channel.
To configure Badges, start by clicking on Badges under the Cloud Comm dropdown.
Here, users can choose to Deactivate (and likewise, Activate) badges by clicking the related text under Status. The Condition for a badge to be earned can also be changed by clicking on the condition itself. For example, the condition of Kudos Sent can be changed from "User has given out 1 kudos" to "User has given out 5 kudos," and so on. Badges can be turned on at any point, but are enabled in Limeade ONE by default.
