Instructions to Configure Dynamic Groups
Dynamic groups pull information from an employee's eligibility file to target specific items to those groups.
To configure groups in Limeade Communications, click Manage Groups in the Tenant Admin dropdown, and then click Dynamic.
Here, dynamic groups can be configured for the purpose of targeting certain groups to receive a message (for example) using the data leveraged in their eligibility files. Please note that dynamic groups can only be used to target communication cards and cannot be used to target activities. It gives flexibility because it lets groups be configured however the user desires them to be.
In this example, there are two groups, Canada Employees and USA Employees, which are reflected on the lefthand side of the screen. Both groups use a country code tag to target groups from different countries.
To create a new group, click + Add Group and then enter the Group Name in the Group Details box.
Click + Add Tag.
Select a category with the Select a tag dropdown, and then further the targeting by clicking the desired targetting tags that will appear at the bottom (In this case, Department is the tag classifier and + Benefits and + Legal are the tags that can be used to target). Multiple tags can be added here by clicking + Add Tag again.
When done, click Save Group to save the group.
Please note that dynamic groups will update automatically whenever the information in their eligibility file has changed, meaning that no edits need to be made to a group if any eligibility information about an employee(s) changes.
Instructions to Configure Static Groups
Static groups are specialized targetting groups that don't use data in an employee's eligibility file, and therefore, are static. They do not update automatically such as dynamic groups do and will need to be manually edited if an employee's eligibility for certain group changes.
To configure static groups, click Manage Groups and then Static.
To add a new group, click + Add Group and type the desired name in the resulting popup box (in this example, the group will be named Champions).
To add a user to the group, click + Add User and search them by their name or email and click the + sign by their name.
The change and users added will be reflected in the box to the right.
By clicking the Import Users button, a list of users can be quickly uploaded through a CSV document.
